The R500/F is an easy-to-use and highly productive equipment. It allows for a high-precision cutting of textile materials (cotton, knitted fabrics, synthetic fabrics, insulation, etc.). Multiple layers of fabric can be cut – thickness up to 300 mm. The band knife machine can be used as a standalone workstation or with a cutting table (Rexel SK-3). It is a very easy to operate piece of equipment. A grinding device installed in the device provides high quality sharpening with minimal wear of band knife. There are several microswitches that will not allow the band to cut if one of the covers is opened or the band is not tightened. If the band is broken or if the tension is inappropriate, the machine will be automatically turned off. The machine is equipped with a lamp with a separate switch. The band knife is equipped with a mechanical band catcher that stops the band in case it breaks. Thanks to this solution working with band knife machine is a much safer process.
